What I will be working on:

Since LEP time I worked on Standard Model precision physics measurements and I still consider them to be a discovery tool. Given the involvement of the LPC in these activities, I'm planning to join this effort, including the ambitious W mass measurement that is also one of the major analysis efforts of my home institute group (CERN). I'm also planning to contribute to CMS upgrades developments and in particular to the HGCAL studies in terms of high level GED-based reconstruction.

My role in CMS past and present:

Currently CMS physics coordinator with and ending term in Dec 2015. Deputy Physics Coordinator in 2012-2013 and Deputy Run Coordinator with role of DPG coordinator in 2010-2011. Starting term as deputy Upgrade Coordinator in Jan 2016.
