What I will be working on:

I am excited to explore the application of boosted top and Higgs reconstruction tools based on deep learning to expand the reach of searches for Supersymmetry (SUSY). Specifically, using the full LHC Run 2 dataset, I will look for gluinos in the 4 tops + missing energy final state and for higgsinos in the di-Higgs (H->bb) + missing energy final state. I also greatly look forward to contributing to the design and testing of the readout chip for the endcap of the CMS Phase-2 MIP timing detector.

My role in CMS past and present:

I joined CMS as a postdoc at the end of 2014. In addition to my contributions to SUSY searches, I have served as a generator contact for the SUSY group, co-convener of the Monte Carlo SUSY subgroup, and I am currently co-convener of the Inclusive SUSY Searches subgroup. Most recently, I also led the layout design of the readout boards for the GE2/1 modules of the CMS Phase-2 GEM muon stations.
