What I will be working on:

I am interested in the search for Higgs boson decaying into two b-quarks in boosted event topology. Understanding the property of the Higgs boson could be the key to discover new Physics. In the case of boosted Higgs boson decay, the differential cross-section at large transverse momentum regime could subject to large correction from beyond standard model effect through anomalous couplings. I will work on improving the search strategy with the help of machine learning technique to better understand the QCD background and classify different production modes. I will also work on the phase 2 upgrade of the High Granularity Calorimeter (HGCAL). The highly segmented HGCAL brings exciting prospects for studying boosted Higgs bosons, since it provides much finer information even at the trigger level. I will explore different trigger algorithms on the latest HGCAL ASIC and evaluate their performance on boosted H(bb) events.

My role in CMS past and present:

I began working with CMS in summer 2015. Since then I am deeply involved in various aspects of operation team of the Hadron Calorimeter(HCAL). I have worked in the HCAL Prompt Feedback Group(PFG) to provide the first check of HF timing in 25ns pp collision. From 2016 onwards, I am the main developer for run control software(RCMS) for HCAL in the online software group and served as a DAQ on-call expert, providing 24/7 on-call service during data taking.
