LPC Distinguished Researcher

Name:

Sadia Khalil

What I will be working on:

Vector-like quarks (VLQ) are an alternative explanation to naturalness besides the light stops particles. In 2015, I will be working on VLQ searches in single production channel. The focus will be on bottom like heavy quarks. In addition I will continue to contribute to searches with SUSY models with low missing transverse energy, such as RPV SUSY and stealth SUSY in multi-lepton channel.

My role in CMS past and present:

I have been "Monte Carlo generation", "electron identification", and "Physics Performance and Dataset" contact person for the Top and B2G Physics groups at CMS. I have done several analyses in B2G, TOP, and EXO and few in SUSY Physics groups at CMS.
