What I will be working on:
I'll be working on mostly on searches, in particular Higgs searches (SM and other) and BSM phenomena such as monojet/dark matter searches and more exotic channels eg monopole production. But QCD will always remain in my hemisphere of interest.
My role in CMS past and present:
My role in CMS in the past and present have been mostly in the coordination area: coordination of the simulation project, coordination of CMs physics TDR (part II), convener of the Exotica group, to name a few. Presently I am the convener of the Higgs group. Together with collaborators and students I had quite a number of physics projects in many physics areas in the past years, from the total pp cross section measurement, to exotica searches.
