LPC Distinguished Researcher

Name:

Kenichi Hatakeyama

What I will be working on:

As an LPC DR, I will continue my work on inclusive search for Supersymmetry and search for scalar top quark pair production in the jets and missing transverse energy (missing ET) final state. In addition, I plan to work on the HCAL reconstruction software developments for the Phase1 upgrade, and the scintillator R&D and reconstruction developments for HGCAL for the Phase 2 upgrade.

My role in CMS past and present:

Since 2009 I worked on the JetMET data quality monitoring and physics validation, and led these efforts until 2010. I also worked on the missing ET commissioning, and lead the missing ET working group from 2011 until 2013. In addition, I have been working on inclusive search for Supersymmetry in all-hadronic final state since 2010 and search for the top squark production in the all hadronic channel since 2012. I led future analysis group for SUSY, focusing on upgrade physics studies and future projection studies, for 2013-2015.
