As an AI fellow, I will work primarily on ML-based fast simulation software for CMS, further developing, validating, and integrating into CMSSW a graph generative model for jets and calorimeter data. Additionally, I will continue exploring ML techniques for reconstruction, compression, and anomaly detection tasks, and working on a boosted Higgs to WW tagger for precision measurements.
Since joining CMS as a CERN summer student in 2019, I have worked on developing ML alternatives for CMS simulation and reconstruction, as well as exploring novel architectures and applications. More recently, I have been working on a boosted di-Higgs to bbWW measurement using the Run 2 data.
