I will be working on characterizing the timing properties of the High Granularity Calorimeter (HGCAL) and will be using the timing information for pile-up mitigation and will work on its subsequent integration into the full event description leading to robust particle identification. I will also be working on the search for triboson production and will probe the existence of anomalous couplings with the use of boosted jets. In addition, I will work in collaboration with experts at Fermilab for the successful validation of new versions of event generators widely used in CMS.
I have been a member of the CMS Collaboration since 2009, as a graduate student at Brown University, and obtained my Ph.D in 2015. Since August 2015, I have been a Post-doctoral Research Associate at Northwestern University. I have served as a coordinator for Monte Carlo sample production within the EXOTICA analysis group in CMS. Currently, I am a convener in the Generator group and am responsible for the successful validation of CMS software releases with respect to the inclusion of event generators. I have served as a facilitator in the CMS Data Analysis School and in the Hands-On-Tutorials at Fermilab. I am also an elected member of the Fermilab Users' Executive Committee.
