Topic: LHC searches examined via the RPV MSSM: Part 1 - R-parity violation and higgsinos

I discuss details of the R-parity violating MSSM relevant for collider studies, with particular focus on its value as a signature generator and the role simplified models can play in tailoring new search strategies. Confronting RPV simplified models with existing ATLAS and CMS new physics searches reveals weakly constrained final states. As an example, I will survey the unconstrained states that emerge from the naturalness-motivated process of Higgsino pair production. These motivate new search strategies for addressing many signals with electroweak production cross-sections.
